These Terms govern your use of ScholarMe at scholarme.app (the “Service”). By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use ScholarMe. This is a product draft, not legal advice.
ScholarMe helps you discover MSc, PhD, and related funded opportunities by reading a CV or profile you provide, searching the public web, and ranking results with explanations. The Service is offered as a beta. Features, quotas, and availability may change.
Match scores, reasoning, and summaries are informational aids. They are not admissions advice, immigration advice, financial advice, or a guarantee of funding or acceptance. Always verify deadlines, eligibility, and requirements on the official source before you apply.
You retain rights in the CV and profile content you upload. You grant ScholarMe a limited license to store that content and process it through our providers (for example Google Cloud Storage, Gemini, and Tavily) solely to operate the Service — building your profile, searching, ranking, and showing you results. You must have the right to upload the materials you submit and must not upload unlawful content.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or put the Service or other users at risk.
Sign-in, AI processing, web search, email delivery, hosting, and storage depend on third parties (including Google and Resend). Their outages or policy changes can affect ScholarMe. Opportunity links lead to third-party sites we do not control.
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Feedback and support messages may be sent to support@scholarme.app.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that results are complete, accurate, or current.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScholarMe and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, applications, or funding, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of zero (if you pay nothing) or the amounts you paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim.
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes may also be noted in the product or by email when practical.
